Heaven is... a place for YOU!

The Bible tells us about heaven:

Behold the dwelling of God is with the human race. He will dwell with them and they will be His people and God Himself will always be with them. He will wipe every tear away from their eyes, and there will be no more death or mourning, wailing, or pain... Revelation 21:3-4

How can I go to Heaven?

This is a question that everyone thinks about. There are four simple truths that show us the way to Heaven:

God loves you!

God loves you and has a beautiful plan for your life. God's plan for your life is better than any plan that you could have for yourself. Jesus said that He came to give us a better life:

"I have come that you might have life and have it to the full." John 10:10

God's perfect plan for your life is that you come to share in His love and His joy in this life. He also wants you to live with Him forever in Heaven. In heaven, God has prepared a beautiful life for you:

Eye has not seen, ear has not heard, nor has it so much as dawned on man what God has prepared for those who love Him. 1 Corinthians 2:9

Man is separated in sin.

All of us, at one time in our lives, have done something wrong. Because of our sinfulness, we are separated from God.

"All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23

As shown in this drawing, man has tried many ways to work his way to God. Mankind has used philosophy, politics and economics to solve life's problems. Man has tried religions and good works as a way to earn his way back to God. But there is nothing that man can do to bridge the gap that sin puts between him and God:

Man is unable to bridge the gap of sin by his own doing.

"Yet in no way can a man redeem himself, or pay his own ransom to God; too high is the price to redeem one's life..." Psalm 49:8 3. Jesus is God's solution.

Jesus is the solution.

"The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23

Sin separates us from God. Hell is being separated from God forever. In God's great love, He sent Jesus to die for our sin:

"Yes, God so loved the world that He sent His only Son, so that whoever believes in Him will not die but may have eternal life." John 3:16

Through dying on the cross and being punished for our sins, Jesus has made it possible for our sins to be forgiven and for us to live forever in the presence of God. Through Jesus, man can bridge the gap of sin and be reconciled with God:

All things are possible with God.

Accept this forgiveness personally.

Jesus' last words from the cross were: "Now it is finished" John 19:30.

Jesus has died so that your sins can be forgiven. What you need to do is to accept His forgiveness by believing in what He has done for you:

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life. John 3:36.

To as many as did accept Him, He empowered to become children of God. John 1:12.

To accept Jesus as your Savior and begin a new life with God, pray this prayer:

Lord Jesus, I'm not perfect. I've done things that are wrong. I'm sorry. Forgive me. Change my life and help me to live for You. Make me what You want me to be. Show me your beautiful plan for my life. Fill me with the power of the Holy Spirit. Fill my life with Your love, peace, and joy. Amen.

I read this material but I am not ready to make a response at this time.
